As part of the Third General Population and Housing Census (RGHP-3), the Support Coordination for the Department of Assinet is actively carrying out community outreach activities to ensure the success of this nationwide operation. Beyond simply counting the population, the campaign also aims to raise awareness about the importance of peaceful coexistence, social harmony, and national unity.

Through community meetings, discussions with local leaders, and field awareness campaigns, the coordination team reminds citizens that the census is a civic duty that concerns every resident, regardless of their ethnic origin, religion, or social background. The participation of all will enable the government to obtain reliable data for better planning in key sectors such as education, healthcare, housing, employment, and infrastructure development.

The coordination also emphasizes the need to maintain a climate of peace, mutual respect, and solidarity throughout the census process. Peaceful coexistence is a fundamental pillar of sustainable development in the Department of Assinet and across Chad. By promoting dialogue and unity among communities, the census also serves as an opportunity to strengthen social cohesion.

The coordination therefore encourages all residents to warmly welcome census enumerators, provide accurate and honest information, and actively contribute to the successful implementation of the RGHP-3. Every individual counted represents a voice that matters in shaping the country’s future.

More than just a statistical exercise, the RGHP-3 is a strategic tool for inclusive and sustainable development, built on reliable data and the collective commitment of all citizens to live together in peace, tolerance and national unity.
