The President of the Republic of Chad and Head of State, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, was received at the Royal Palace in Mina by the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.

This high-level meeting forms part of efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and cooperation between Chad and Saudi Arabia. During their discussions, the two leaders reviewed the historical and brotherly ties linking the two countries while exploring prospects for partnership in several strategic sectors.

The talks notably focused on the areas of economy, investment, energy, infrastructure, as well as issues related to security and regional stability. The Chadian Head of State and the Saudi Crown Prince also discussed several matters of common interest concerning issues affecting both the Arab and African worlds.

This audience reflects the shared determination of N’Djamena and Riyadh to further strengthen their bilateral cooperation and create new partnership opportunities for the benefit of both peoples.
